The Waikato Housing Initiative (WHI) undertook a housing stocktake - Waikato Region Housing Initiative - 2018 Housing Stocktake, which determined the housing needs and availability across the whole housing spectrum, from owned or rented, to affordable, state, emergency and other social housing.
With support from the Waikato Wellbeing Project, the WHI developed a housing data dashboards to continually keep the 2018 stocktake updated, allowing for better decision on demand, quality and supply.
